When I finally gave up on becoming a world-class cyclist and
country music sensation, my ambitions came to rest at becoming a
writer. I've since won a national writing contest, written for
newspapers, magazines, and journals, and published two books.
In a previous life, I was a ring-side boxing announcer,
small-market radio personality, radiation research technician,
instructor of veterinary anesthesia, and head nurse at the Flint Animal
Cancer Center. Now fully mature, I shoot pointy sticks, grind rusted
steel, and pen genre fiction.
I am happily living out my “Hobbit Phase” in the mountains of Arizona with my talented wife Holly, our self-possessed dog Poppy, and our disgruntled cat Ellie.
